Comfort
The closed-cell polyethylene foam back is molded to conform exactly to the floor ribs.This creates a flat cushioned floor that is very knee friendly. When kneeling, sitting, or lying on the floor, you can't feel the floor ribs.

Water Proof and Stain Resistant
Water is not absorbed by either the polyester carpet or the polyethylene closed-celled marine foam, which has been certified by the U. S. Coast Guard as a flotation material. Wise Industries guarantees that the BedRug’s foam back will not dry out, crumble, dissolve, or degrade in any way.

Acid, Grease and Chemical Proof
The solid strand polyester fiber can not be permanently marked by transmission fluid, oil or grease. Neither gasoline, acids, solvents, chemical compounds, nor any petroleum product can damage the carpet or foam backing. The closed-cell cross linked polyethylene foam will not soak up ANY liquid. Odors cannot be absorbed and absolutely will not linger after all odor holding particles are flushed from the carpet.
