Supercharge your vehicle's lighting with our KC high output Halogen Fog SlimLites^®.

KC SlimLites^® feature a unique 6" round steel housing with a sleek, flat profile that allows them to fit where many other lights won't. These lights incorporate high performance halogen bulbs, optical quality glass lenses and precision polished reflectors to generate a super bright and specially focused beam of light. The two-axis mount provides for easy and accurate aiming.

Also included are super tough ABS plastic Stone Guards for added protection and great styling. Stone Guards simply snap onto the light housing and stay firmly in place.

Installation is quick and easy with a KC pre-terminated wiring Harness (included in complete systems). The harness includes a heavy-duty relay along with an illuminated switch and is ready to plug into the lights leaving a professionally installed, factory appearance.

KC SlimLites^® are available in a choice of three attractive finishes:

KC TITANIUM SlimLites^® feature a specially plated housing that takes on the appearance of highly polished titanium. This unique finish provides an extremely deep and lustrous upscale look. They come with super bright 130 watt H3 Ice Blue halogen bulbs. These bulbs, in conjunction with the specially designed reflector, produce a piercing blue-white light similar in appearance to the look of HID lighting.

LIGHTING TYPES:

The standard headlamps that come on cars and trucks provide adequate illumination under ideal circumstances. When weather conditions worsen or when driving on long open stretches of rural interstate highways, auxiliary lighting is needed.

A well-equipped vehicle will sport three types of lighting. Fog Lights throw a wide, low beam to get under extreme weather conditions. Driving Lights are a must-have improvement over stock headlights, burning brighter and penetrating farther through the night. Long Range Lights (for off road applications) complete the performance lighting picture, throwing high intensity light that projects up to 1 and 1/2 miles.

FOG:
Conventional lights throw a broad beam containing both vertical and horizontal light. Unfortunately, the vertical light can project above the hood of the vehicle, which will illuminate any particles of rain, snow, dust, etc. that may be in front of the vehicle. When these particles are illuminated, a dangerous glare is created that dramatically reduces seeing ability by reflecting light back in to the driver's eyes. The effectiveness of KC Fog Lights comes from the shape of the beam pattern which is very wide, but only a couple of feet high. This pattern does light the pathway close to the ground but does not light the airborne particles that are in the driver's line of sight (called refracted light). Fog lights are also a very helpful addition to headlights in clear weather conditions. They provide added lighting immediately in front of the vehicle as well as increased side or cornering light.
